THE BAND

BRIAN VINAY

// lead vocals

Mr. Vinay is a full-time entrepreneur, managing businesses as diverse as job recruiting and HVAC installation.  Despite this, he still has time to devote to Up Past 10, not only as our main vocalist, but also taking over many management duties.  He has a healthy respect (paranoia) for germs so try to contain your excitement during performances and do not touch his microphone under any circumstances!

CHRIS COX

// lead guitar

Mr. Cox has a day job.  We think it has to do with computers, but no one really cares.  We only care that he can SHRED on guitar.  He starts his day playing guitar naked on the couch and it goes downhill from there.  We would put him up against Mike McCready any day of the week!

MICHAEL FAUST

// drums

Who was that music teacher at North Franklin Elementary school in 1977 with the nerve to tell future Dr. Mike that he wasn’t allowed to play drums?  In 1985 he sold a concert grand marimba for a set of Pearl Export Series drums and never looked back (Ok, he eventually looked back a little).  Playing a set that includes remnants of those classic Pearl drums, Dr. Mike is the latest FNG for UpPast10.

MICHAEL RADAGE

// bass

Savage Radage is the HR guy of the group. When he's not recruiting teachers, he keeps to slappin the bass and keepin it up high for rhythm section of Up Past 10. Bow Chicka Bow Wow! If Savage isn't Slappin it or doing his professional HR type thing, you might see him  sitting in the poker room bluffing his way to victory!

HOWIE GOLDBERG

// horn & percussion

Dr. Goldberg is a beloved doctor of some of the human body's nastiest parts.  A dirty job, and he's just the guy for it.  Once he puts the scalpels away, Howie brings a real sense of girth to the group whether he's tooting his own horn or smacking a tambourine like a madman.

MIKE DAMON

// rhythm guitar

Mr. Damon is a customer relationship manager (whatever that is) by trade, working on paint and stuff.  He has played in several local bands prior to joining us and has a penchant for collecting and building guitars.  If you see him playing a cool new piece, whatever you do, don’t mention it to his wife!  Mike is our beloved rhythm-meister, and, in a twisted knot of fate, the eternal FNG.

ED HENRY

// keys & horn

During the day, Mr. Henry crunches numbers for a living but at night he spends time hammering the keyboard. He also traded his high school French Horn for a shiny new trumpet, so expect to see him adding a tower to Howie's power horn section. When he's not jamming music or working late, you might see him flying around on one of western PA’s MTB trails trying to prove that age is just a number.
